Details. Details.

First things first. This is not meant to be a continuation of the Hamilton Wayzgoose.

We do not have plans to host a Wayzgoose every year in Chicago. This Wayzgoose ORD will be different. It will be more self-directed, less programmed and present a weekend of opportunities to experience many print shops around the Chicago area.

We are still in the planning stages but here’s a rough idea of the structure.

We hope this information helps you decide if you want to make the trip to Chicago to join us. We will continue to send out information as it is confirmed. Sign up for updates!

OPTIONAL trip to Platen Press Museum in Zion, IL (about an hour north of Chicago) with opportunities to purchase printing presses, materials, etc. More details to come.

We are planning an opportunity to get together and see the sights and shops of Chicago while highlighting the city, its rich history and vibrant present.

You will be able to see as much as you want, with time to meet and hang out with people in the community bookended by planned time together. We want WORD 2026 to be affordable, open and fun.
